Regarding “The city of Agoura Hills aligns with T.O.-Westlake Chamber” story in the Dec. 31 Thousand Oaks Acorn , every Chamber of Commerce is supposed to promote a healthy business environment so as to help create and maintain proper funding for the communities it represents.

As president of the Agoura Chamber, Louis Masry should look at his leadership or lack of it before questioning why Agoura Hills is departing from its present Chamber to join the T.O.-Westlake Chamber.

Mr. Masry has been against Home Depot in Agoura Hills, Lowe’s in Westlake Village and Home Depot in Thousand Oaks.

What’s absurd is the stance Masry takes against a vigorous supportive business community.
