Fleetwood Mac tribute coming to The Canyon
Bella Donna, a tribute to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, will perform on Fri., Jan. 22 at The Canyon, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. The opening act will perform at 8:30 p.m.
The all-ages show will feature the hits of the Nicks and Fleetwood Mac as well as special guests The Jared Young Band.
The eight-piece band re-creates the persona and music of Nicks and Fleetwood Mac through music and vocal impersonations, authentic wardrobe and staging.
“We are going into our ninth year now, and it’s still full steam ahead with lots of new classic material and wardrobe,” said lead singer Michelle Tyler, who performs as Nicks. “We love paying tribute to Stevie and her impressive body of work. We now have a big presence on the Internet and get hundreds of hits and e-mails weekly from all over the world.”
Before embarking on her current career portraying Nicks, Tyler appeared on “Your Big Break,” a Dick Clark Productions TV show, portraying Grace Slick of The Jefferson Airplane, and a spot on ABC’s “The Next Best Thing” as Stevie Nicks.
Residing in the Conejo Valley for more than 20 years, Tyler is married to Academy Award-winning sound engineer Bob Weitz, who also serves as lead guitarist and musical director of the band.
Additional musicians are Ken Dayton on keyboards, Woody Smith on bass, Steve Giba on drums, Bruce Lawrence on guitar and Lisa Robert and Shari Rhone on backing vocals.
