Newbury Park

A 20-year-old male hit and shoved family members and bit his father around 6:45 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 1200 block of Ramona Drive. The subject also possessed several syringes and was under the influence of a controlled substance.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 21, at 9 p.m. Dec. 28 at Lynn Road, west of Ventu Park Road (subject also possessed Norco and marijuana); a male, 46, at 8:18 p.m. Dec. 22 at Michael and Northam streets; a male, 31, at 3:35 a.m. Dec. 21 at Old Conejo Road and Ruth Drive (subject was also texting while driving).

Two 18-year-old males were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at 6:55 p.m. Dec. 29 in the first block of Montenegro Circle. One subject had tar heroin and drug paraphernalia in his wallet; the other possessed a controlled substance.

A male, 28, battered and injured someone he is dating and living with around 3:40 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1700 block of Blossom Court.

A female, 19, was cited for petty theft at 11 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 1900 block of Dorrit Street.

A female, 42, was cited for shoplifting at 3:19 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 28, was arrested for being drunk in public at 3:02 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 600 block of Avenida de la Plata. The subject was playing with children he didn’t know.

A male, 52, was arrested for being drunk in public at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 30 in the 1000 block of Newbury Road. A male, 24, was arrested for the same crime at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 23 at Borchard Road and Wendy Drive.

Walnut Elementary School was vandalized with graffiti that targeted a specific ethnicity between Dec. 28 and 30. The damage estimate was $500.

Home burglaries occurred at the following locations: between 10:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 3600 block of Lesser Drive; between 3:15 and 3:25 a.m. Dec. 27 in the 500 block of Wilshire Place; between Oct. 29 and Dec. 29 in the 1200 block of Alessandro Drive.

Property was stolen on Oct. 3 in the 3200 block of Peppermint Street. The crime was recently reported.

About $5,600 worth of property was damaged at Amgen on Dec. 30.

Graffiti defaced a block wall ($500 in damage) between Dec. 24 and 28 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino.

Holes were cut in window screens between Dec. 20 and 27 in the 1500 block of Pachino Circle.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: between Dec. 23 and 26 in the 200 block of Via Monterey (a work computer was stolen); between Nov. 26 and Dec. 10 in the 1200 block of Ramona Drive ($700 in total damage).

Thousand Oaks

An assault with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery occurred around 10 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 24, at 6:12 p.m. Dec. 25 at Moorpark Road and Rolling Oaks Drive; a male, 31, at 2:25 a.m. Dec. 28 at S. Moorpark Road, north of Rolling Oaks Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 22, at 8:10 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles; a female, 18, at 3:35 p.m. Dec. 21 at Hillcrest Drive and the 23 Freeway (subject possessed an illegal smoking device in her shoe and lied to police about her name and date of birth); a female, 45, at 1 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 2800 block of Los Robles Road (subject possessed a glass smoking pipe).

A male, 25, was arrested for inflicting corporal injury to his spouse or cohabitant and committing false imprisonment at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 2900 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The crime occurred in the 1600 block of Tiburon Court.

A male, 34, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 29 at the East County Sheriff’s Station. The crime occurred in the 15700 block of Arroyo Drive in Moorpark on Christmas Day.

A male, 38, was arrested for stalking someone at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Gang graffiti was discovered in a CVS pharmacy restroom on Dec. 20 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Graffiti defaced a restroom at Estella Park between Dec. 23 and 28.

Graffiti damaged property between noon and 2 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 1800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Home burglaries occurred at the following locations: on Dec. 28 in the 1200 block of E. Potter Avenue; on Dec. 27 or 28 in the 1500 block of El Cerrito Drive; between Dec. 9 and 25 in the 2300 block of Windward Circle.

A male, 24, damaged his father’s property and possessed a small amount of marijuana around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 200 block of Oak Leaf Drive.

A female, 18, was cited for possessing medication without a prescription at 10 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A refrigerator and pots were stolen from a home between July 1 and Dec. 24 in the 2200 block of Hood Drive.

A female, 46, was arrested for aiding a person with a felony warrant at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 900 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

For stealing store property, a 19year-old female was cited at 3:27 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A 25-year-old female was cited for shoplifting at 3:10 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A female, 23, failed to yield to pedestrians crossing a marked crosswalk at westbound Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Bouganvilla. She was cited for the crime and for driving without a license.

An 18-year-old female was intoxicated from alcohol and prescription medication around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 2600 block of Moorpark Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Dec. 29 or 30 in the 800 block of Blue Spring Road (unlocked); between 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road (golf clubs stolen from unlocked vehicle); between 6:30 and 6:40 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 2800 block of Sandhurst Avenue (unlocked); on Dec. 27 in the 2900 block of Santiago Place; on Dec. 26 or 27 in the 1100 block of Fox Glove Circle; on Dec. 22 or 23 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A vehicle was vandalized with graffiti between Oct. 4 and Dec. 4 in the 300 block of Conejo Ridge Avenue. The crime was recently reported.

Vehicle windows were broken and paint damaged on Dec. 29 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue. The total damage was $1,000.

Vehicle windows ($250) were broken on Dec. 25 or 26 in the 1400 block of Northwood Parkway Drive.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on Dec. 21 in the 900 block of S. Rancho Road.

Property was stolen around 10 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 1600 block of Larkfield Avenue.

A male, 28, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 3:10 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane.

A female, 47, was arrested for being drunk in public at 10:25 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 1300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 48, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A female, 21, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:46 a.m. Dec. 27 at Westlake Boulevard and Valley Spring Drive.

A vehicle break-in occurred on Dec. 22 or 23 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

A $200 vehicle window was broken on Dec. 22 or 23 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

Felony vandalism was reported around 11:40 p.m. Dec. 25 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A male, 37, was arrested for disobeying police orders at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 1200 block of La Venta Drive.
