The San Simon hearing dog program will present a demonstration of the Assistance Dogs Program, which rescues dogs from animal shelters and humane societies to train them to become hearing dogs for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, at 2 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 14 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

The program is sponsored by Hearing Loss Association of Simi Valley.
