The Ventura County Sheriff’s Detention Services Division has changed to a new provider for inmate phone services. The new company, Global Tel-Link, has finished installing the new system.

Phone calls placed by inmates are now made on the GTL system. The system will work similar to the previous one, with some refinements and cost savings to the county.

Inmates who have purchased calling cards while in custody will now be able to use the card after they are released.

Those with loved ones or friends in custody can continue to set up prepaid calling accounts by calling GTL at (877) 650-4249 or going to www.GTL.net.
