For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 43, at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 200 block of Devia Court; a female, 38, at 11:15 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 200 block of Devia Court; a male, 18, at 6:25 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 100 block of N. Reino Road.

A male, 57, was arrested for burglary at 12:05 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 500 block of S. Reino Road.

A male, 18, was cited for possessing Xanax pills and a small amount of marijuana at 5:06 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 100 block of N. Reino Road.

Two shoplifters stole more than $400 in clothes from Kohl’s at 1960 Newbury Road between 10:39 and 10:50 a.m. Dec. 19.

Property was stolen off a porch on Dec. 19 in the 3700 block of San Marcos Court.

A vandal damaged property valued at $200 on Dec. 19 or 20 in the 200 block of S. Ventu Park Road.

A $25 gate lock was destroyed at Cypress Elementary School.

A trespassing occurred between 6:30 and 6:35 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 700 block of Dearborn Avenue.

A male, 34, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 9:53 p.m. Dec. 21 at Wendy and Grande Vista drives.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: between 11:09 and 11:12 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 200 block of Trailside Court (unlocked); on Dec. 20 or 21 in the 1100 block of Amberton Lane (purse stolen).

Thousand Oaks

Four assailants hit someone on the head with a baseball bat and continued to batter the victim with punches and kicks. One possibly known subject stole $900 from the battered party. The crime occurred between 8 and 9:09 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 1800 block of Olivewood Court.

A juvenile battered someone, brandished a deadly weapon and damaged a cellphone between 10:30 and 11:20 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 600 block of Benson Way.

A male, 31, was arrested for child endangerment, providing false information to police, driving at an unsafe speed and driving with a suspended license at 8:32 a.m. Dec. 18 at Westlake Boulevard and Cresthaven Drive.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 38, at 2:07 a.m. Dec. 19 at Windsor Drive and Janss Road; a male, 22, at 3:02 a.m. Dec. 19 at Moorpark and Janss roads; a male, 26, at 8:21 p.m. Dec. 19 in the 1000 block of Calle Jazmin; and a male, 30, at 1:20 a.m. Dec. 20 in the Janss Marketplace parking garage.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 18, at 2:25 a.m. Dec. 19 in the first block of Marimar Street; a male, 22, at 4 p.m. Dec. 21 in the 900 block of E. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 20, at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 21 at the Muvico Theater at 166 W. Hillcrest Drive (subject possessed heroin and a smoking device).

A male, 24, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and a hypodermic needle at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 11 at Conejo School Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 20, was arrested for not cooperating with police after being involved in a physical fight at 11:50 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 1200 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 30, was arrested for stealing a vehicle at 4 p.m. Dec. 19 in the 1800 block of Avenida de Las Flores.

Shoplifting occurred around 8 p.m. Dec. 19 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

The following subjects were cited for shoplifting or petty theft: A female, 54, at 8:05 p.m. Dec. 22 at Macy’s in The Oaks mall; a female, 44, at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 21 at Macy’s; a female, 58, at 2:50 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 3800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a female, 44, at 7:05 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road; and a male, 18, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at J.C. Penney, 280 W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 37, and a female, 27, were arrested for theft with prior convictions and conspiracy to commit a crime at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Ralphs, 1500 N. Moorpark Road.

A $2,000 golf cart was stolen from a barn between 1 and 7 a.m. Dec. 18 in the 1000 block of Potrero Road.

A purse was stolen between 3:42 and 3:44 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Colina Middle School was vandalized with graffiti on Dec. 12 or 13.

A home was burglarized on Dec. 21 in the 100 block of Ramble Ridge Drive.

A home burglary occurred on Dec. 15 or 16 in the 1500 block of Dover Avenue.

A home burglary occurred between Dec. 17 and 20 in the 1000 block of Deepwood Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Dec. 21 or 22 in the 2100 block of Meadow Brook Court (unlocked); between 9:30 and 11:50 a.m. Dec. 22 along Avenida de Los Arboles; and between 12:15 and 1 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 3300 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A car was vandalized between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen from a locked storage unit on Dec. 16 in the 100 block of Duesenberg Drive.

Somebody stole more than $400 from someone’s bank account between Nov. 9 and Dec. 14 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Property was vandalized on Dec. 16 or 17 in the 2100 block of Flintridge Court.

A vandal damaged property between 9:41 and 9:45 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 2900 block of Rikkard Drive.

A grand theft occurred between Dec. 7 and 21 in the 500 block of Hampshire Road.

A grand theft occurred on Dec. 21 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road.

A burglary occurred between Dec. 1, 2008, and June 7 in the 700 block of Camino Manzanas. The crime was recently reported.

A shoplifter stole goods from HomeGoods store at 1332 N. Moorpark Road between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 18.

Graffiti defaced a public restroom on Dec. 21 or 22 in the 300 block of Erbes Road.

A park restroom was vandalized with gang graffiti between Dec. 18 and 21 in the 300 block of Erbes Road.

A female, 27, was arrested for being drunk in public at 9 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 27, was charged with the same crime at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 21 in the 900 block of Calle Margarita.

Two males, 25 and 40, were cited for gambling with cards in public at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 16 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road. The 25-year-old was also drinking alcohol in public.

A male, 51, was cited for drinking vodka in public at 2:35 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive.

A male, 48, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 6:50 p.m. Dec. 19 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road.
