Westlake Lutheran Church, part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is moving from 2630 Townsgate Road, Unit C, in Westlake Village. The church has purchased a new facility from Christian Church of the Hills.

Worship services will begin Sun., Jan. 3 at the new facility, 29295 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills. A contemporary service will be at 8:30 a.m., Christian education hour at 9:45 a.m. and a traditional worship service at 11 a.m.

The congregation began a Forward by Faith campaign about 10 years ago with the goal of saving for a new facility.

The final services at the Townsgate Road facility were at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

A special New Year’s Eve celebration and closing service will be at 7 tonight, Dec. 31.
