The Tom Peterson Jazz Sextet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 7 at the Famous Sports Bar and Grille, 821 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The group includes Ira Nepus, trombone; Jonathan Dane, trumpet; Rich Eames, piano; Jeff D’Angelo, bass; and Dick Weller, drums.

A student jam directed by Matt Finders will precede the sextet at 5:30 p.m.

The Famous Sports Bar presents jazz every Thursday. There is no cover charge.
