Kids from Colina score a soccer trifecta
SHOWING SCHOOL SPIRIT—
For the third year in a row, Colina Middle School captured a championship at the Alex Fiore Teen Center Friendly Soccer Tournament. Sequoia, Redwood and Los Cerritos middle schools also participated in the tournament. The teams played eight games each over the course of eight weeks. Colina was successful in scoring 47 goals throughout the event and allowing only six goals. The tournament was organized by the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. Beginning in March, the Teen Center will host a tournament for the middle school girls as well. Goalkeeper Sean Crock is pictured sitting in front.
