Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 53, at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at Kimber Drive and Reino Road; a male, 28, at 4:02 a.m. Dec. 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 50, at 9:10 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 39, at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 600 block of N. Wendy Drive (subject also violated a court order); a female, 43, at 12:40 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata; a female, 29, at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 25, was arrested for agreeing to engage in an act of prostitution at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 16 at La Quinta Inn, 1320 Newbury Road.

A male, 23, was arrested for stealing a car at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.

A vandal caused a chemical device to explode, which could have damaged property at Sequoia Middle school, between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. Dec. 13.

For committing a residential burglary in the 800 block of Green Valley Drive, a male, 19, was arrested Dec. 16 at the East County Sheriff’s Station.

A home burglary occurred on Nov. 21 or 22 in the 800 block of Green Valley Drive. It was only recently reported.

Property was stolen from multiple homes in the 1500 block of Silver Shadow Drive on Dec. 12 or 13.

A female, 34, was cited for interfering with a police investigation at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 2300 block of Teller Road.

A grand theft occurred between Dec. 11 and 13 in the 800 block of Danvers Circle.

Property was vandalized around 4:30 a.m. Dec. 13 in the 3200 block of Grande Vista Drive.

A vehicle break-in occurred between 2:40 and 3:20 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 4600 block of Calle San Juan.

A theft was attempted at Newbury Park Bicycle Shop, 1560 Newbury Road, on June 29. Another villain attempted to purchase goods with a fraudulent credit card on July 1. The crimes were recently reported.

Thousand Oaks

An assailant threatened to kill or hurt someone with a knife at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 9 in the first block of W. Olsen Road.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 27, at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 17 at Hillcrest Drive and Conejo School Road; a female, 26, at 10:33 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 3300 block of Radcliffe Road; a male, 39, at 9:40 p.m. Dec. 16 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Oakview Drive; a female, 21, at 2:25 a.m. Dec. 12 at Hampshire Road and Westlake Boulevard; a male, 23, at 12:10 a.m. Dec. 14 in the 700 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 50, committed assault with a deadly weapon and stalked someone around 10 a.m. Dec. 9 at Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive. She was arrested Dec. 17 in the 900 block of Paseo Serinata in Camarillo.

A male, 34, stole goods from Ralphs at 1500 Moorpark Road and battered a loss prevention officer while trying to flee. The subject was arrested at 7 p.m. Dec. 14.

A male, 38, was arrested for possessing oxycodone pills and a small amount of marijuana at 5:15 p.m. Dec. 14 at Laurelwood Drive and Erbes Road.

A male, 47, committed a residential burglary on Dec. 17 in the 700 block of Rancho Road.

A male, 32, was arrested for burglary and presenting a fraudulent identification at 4 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 3800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 22, was arrested for obstructing justice at 12:55 a.m. Dec. 12 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road.

A female, 25, was arrested for petty theft at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 28, tried to use someone’s identity to apply for credit at Nordstrom, 346 W. Hillcrest Drive, around 3:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

Four males between the ages of 31 and 52 were cited for gambling in public at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 16 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.

An 18-year-old female was cited for shoplifting from J.C. Penney, 208 W. Hillcrest Drive, at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

A female, 20, was cited for obstructing justice at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Dec. 14 or 15 in the 1600 block of Hendrix Avenue; Dec. 15 or 16 in the 1000 block of Waverly Drive; between 2:40 and 2:45 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 1100 block of Greenfield Street; Dec. 16 or 17 in the 300 block of Chestnut Hill; Dec. 16 or 17 in the 700 block of Birchpark Court; Dec. 16 or 17 in the 700 block of St. Charles Drive; Dec. 16 or 17 in the 200 block of Oak Leaf Drive; Dec. 15 or 16 in the 200 block of Green Moor Place; Dec. 15 or 16 in the 2100 block of Calle Lila; between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between Dec. 9 and 13 in the 3100 block of Gold Hill Circle (unlocked); Dec. 12 or 13 in the first block of McAfee Court.

A $300 vehicle window was shattered between 9:35 and 10:15 a.m. Dec. 14 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A home was burglarized between Dec. 9 and 11 in the 1200 block of Paseo Rancho Serano.

A home burglary occurred between noon and 2 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 500 block of E. Gainsborough Road.

A home burglary was attempted between 11:45 a.m. and noon Dec. 17 in the 1400 block of Cheswick Place.

Property was stolen from a garage between Dec. 7 and 12 in the 1100 block of Woodridge Avenue.

Colina Middle School was vandalized ($200 in damage) between Dec. 11 and 13.

A business was burglarized around 6:15 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Burglars attempted to break into a business around 12:30 a.m. Dec. 13 in the 2200 block of Lynn Road.

Property was stolen from Best Buy at 390 N. Moorpark Road on Dec. 14.

A petty theft occurred on Dec. 16 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Erbes Road.

Graffiti defaced property on Dec. 14 or 15 in the 300 block of Erbes Road.

Graffiti was discovered on a wall in the 100 block of N. Skyline Drive on Dec. 14.

Vandals destroyed property valued at $150 on Dec. 16 or 17 in the 1700 block of Calle Zocalo.

Someone made repeated annoying phone calls between Nov. 29 and Dec. 16 in the 1400 block of Strawberry Hill Road.

A male, 64, was arrested for selling food from a catering truck without a permit at 11:40 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive.

Westlake/T.O.

A home was burglarized between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Dec. 14 in the 5600 block of Grey Feather Court.

Property was vandalized between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 100 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.
