Westlake Women’s Club will meet for a luncheon at 10 a.m. Tues., Jan. 12 at the Westlake Inn, 31943 Agoura Road.

After lunch, representatives of the Court Appointed Special Advocate system will discuss how it relates to United Women’s Leadership Council and the California Youth Connection, which helps female foster children prepare for emancipation at age 18.

Claudia Salfen, a member of the club and an experienced advocate with the leadership council, will answer questions.

The cost is $26, and guests are welcome. Reservations are due by Thurs., Jan. 7.
