Newbury Park

A robbery occurred at a bank in the 500 block of S. Reino Road around 2:35 p.m. Dec. 5.

A male, 56, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 10:55 p.m. Dec. 4 at Via Las Brisas and Via Grande. The subject drove over and damaged private property.

The Boys & Girls Club in the 2800 block of Borchard Road was vandalized between Dec. 4 and 7.

Two fires were ignited at Sequoia Middle School on Dec. 8 or 9.

A burglar attempted to break into EARTHS school on Michael Drive by removing five window screens. The subject also started a fire that damaged the exterior. Both incidents occurred between 11 and 11:45 a.m. Dec. 6.

A female, 25, was arrested and charged with committing a battery on a police officer and being drunk in public at 7:25 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 100 block of Fallbrook Street.

Objects were thrown at a moving vehicle ($1,000 in damage) just before midnight on Dec. 4 along Reino Road, south of Mayfield Street and north of Kimber Drive.

A male, 23, possessed a forged prescription that was reportedly stolen by the subject’s previous doctor. He was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 39, was arrested for disobeying a court order at 6:18 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 600 block of N. Wendy Drive.

A male, 22, was cited for possessing a switchblade knife at 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at Hillcrest Drive and Avenida del Platino.

A female, 41, was arrested for being drunk in public at 4:05 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive.

A home was burglarized between 9:15 a.m. and 12:19 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 200 block of Lynn Oaks Avenue.

A home burglary was attempted around 1 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 4100 block of Greenwood Street.

An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle around 1 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 400 block of N. Reino Road.

Three males between 19 and 21 were soliciting without a license at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 8 at Gloria and Gerst drives.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 67, at 20:20 p.m. Dec. 9 at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Camino Manzanas (subject was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Lynn Road, near Hillcrest Drive); a male, 21, at 1:15 a.m. Dec. 9 at Chiquita Lane, east of Conejo School Road; a male, 22, at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 900 block of Calle Nogal (subject fled from his vehicle upon contact, refused to follow a deputy’s instructions and possessed brass knuckles in his glove box); and a male, 44, at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 6 at Whitecliff Road and Westminster Street.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 49, at 11:55 p.m. Dec. 8 at Gainsborough Road and Bedford Place; and a female, 43, at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 2300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Somebody swerved his vehicle into a bicyclist between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Erbes Road.

Someone used a vehicle as a weapon by striking another vehicle with someone inside it between 9:10 and 9:25 a.m. around Lynn Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 45, was arrested for battery and vandalism at 3:55 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 3300 block of Blue Ridge Court.

A female, 26, threw a ceramic plate at someone’s head, which caused an injury, around 1:45 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 39, was cited for theft at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 10 at Ralphs in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A 58-year-old male was cited for shoplifting from Ralphs on Moorpark Road at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6.

A male, 25, was arrested for stealing property from Sears at 2:15 p.m. Dec. 5.

A female, 50, was cited for shoplifting from J.C. Penney’s at 6:55 p.m. Dec. 5.

For possessing medication without a prescription, a male, 39, was cited at 11:47 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 600 block of E. Janss Road.

A handgun was stolen from a locked vehicle between 10 and 10:35 a.m. Dec. 5 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 6 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 3500 block of N. Campus Drive; on Dec. 7 or 8 in the 2600 block of E. Hillcrest Drive; between 4 and 4:15 a.m. Dec. 5 in the 300 block of E. Lucero Street; and between 8 and 9 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane (window smashed, purse stolen); on Dec. 6 in the 700 block of Calle Mandarinas.

A home was burglarized between 1:15 and 4:45 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road.

A home burglary occurred between Nov. 24 and Dec. 5 in the 2300 block of Sirius Street.

Property was vandalized between Sept. 1 and Dec. 4 in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Blank prescription forms were stolen from a doctor between July 1 and Aug. 11 in the 400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. The crime was recently reported.

Grand theft occurred at Rusnak Porsche in the Auto Mall on Dec. 7 or 8.

Property was stolen on Dec. 5 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was damaged between 9:20 and 9:50 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A petty theft occurred between Nov. 2 and Dec. 2 in the 1700 block of Shadybrook Drive.

An ATM was vandalized on Dec. 4 or 5 in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road.

A car window was shot with a pellet or BB gun on Dec. 4 or 5 in the 900 block of Evenstar Avenue.

Screws were drilled into vehicle tires on the night of Dec. 4 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Pavement of a street was damaged with an incendiary device between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Fordham and Campbell avenues.

A 2010 registration tag was removed from a vehicle license plate between Oct. 21 and Nov. 21 in the parking lot of the Racquet Club Villa near Janss Marketplace.

A vehicle registration tag was removed between Jan. 9 and Dec. 7 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road.

A female, 50, was cited for being in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 500 block of Houston Drive.

Air was let out of vehicle tires on Nov. 27 or 28 on Aspenwall Road, near Strandway Court.

The following subjects were arrested for being drunk in public: A male, 39, at 9:05 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 53, at 2:25 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center at 1385 E. Janss Road; a female, 45, at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject resisted arrest by battering and fighting police officers and a nurse); and a male, 37, at 11:40 p.m. Dec. 4 at Hampshire and Townsgate roads.

Two 19-year-old males were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 1700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. One subject also possessed someone else’s driver’s license.

A male, 52, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 1500 block of Rugby Circle.

Westlake/T.O.

A Westlake High School student allegedly furnished another student with narcotics around 9:30 a.m. Dec. 2 on school grounds.

Two 31-year-old males were arrested for robbery at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 5 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
