Colleen Murphy, a student at La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks, received the St. Michael’s College Scholarship and Service Book Award. Colleen is the daughter of Terry and Marianne Murphy of Westlake Village.

The award recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism and leadership through community service. Recipients are high school juniors in the National Honor Society or an equivalent school-sponsored honors organization.

St. Michael’s College is in Vermont.
