‘Christmas Carol’ on the air

Every Now and Then Theatre will air its rendition of “Christmas Carol—A Ghost Story,” at noon, 5 and 10 p.m. Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 on radio stations NewsTalk 1520 KVTA and 1400 KKZZ.

Sharing the co-hosting duties will be Cheryl Ladd, Jamie Farr, Charlene Tilton and Tim Conway, along with the show’s co-directors Linda Stiegler of Thousand Oaks and James Wortman of Ventura.

Keith Hurt of Camarillo stars as Ebenezer Scrooge.

“This story is really about Jacob Marley offering Scrooge one last chance at redemption,” said Stiegler. “Scrooge has grown bitter from numerous disappointments in life. Dickens gives us clues as to what triggered the money lender to become cold and uncaring.”

The script was adapted for broadcast by Stiegler and Wortman. The original score is by Cheryl A. Talbot of Simi Valley. Sound engineers are David Toumi of Thousand Oaks and Bob Allen of Ventura.

Cast members are Arryck Adams, Bob Allen, Bob Decker, Jim and Judy Diderrich, Gordon Durich, Jonathan Ely, Erin Fagundes, Jacob Fagundes, Mark Fagundes, Zoe Fagundes, Damian Gravino, Jeremy Hanna, Olivia Heulitt, Keith Hurt, Tami Keaton, Shawn W. Lanz, Ray Mastrovito, Vanessa Orr, Debbie and Jake Price, Christy and Cici Stephan, Linda M. Stiegler, Bob West and James M. Wortman.
