The Thousand Oaks Teen Center will present its annual communitywide New Year ’s Eve Celebration from 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Thurs., Dec. 31 at the center, 1375 E. Janss Road.

The program is for seventhand eighth-grade teens only. School I.D. will be required, and the dress code will be strictly enforced.

D.J. SLiK will play hip-hop, rock and Top 40 music and videos. The event will also have a light and laser show, free pizza, open soda bar and giveaways.

All teens will receive party hats, confetti and noisemakers. The midnight celebration will include a countdown, balloon drop and live coverage of festivities throughout the country on video screens. 

Group or couple photos will also be available.

Admission is $10 at the door. Attendance will be limited to 500 teens
