Navy Seaman Patrick T. Maccarone recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Maccarone is a 2006 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and the son of Christine and Nicholas Maccarone of Thousand Oaks.
