It’s great to be king
We live in a politically correct world when those who criticize others who do wrong are personally attacked. Those who are brave enough to express their point of view or take action get retaliation.
Take, for example, when a person is caught in a lie; if another would address or judge the lie in any way or form, the person who points out the lie is a bad person. The lie is okay and acceptable in a politically correct world.
This is why so many good people keep their mouths shut and look the other way when they see bad things happening. If you’re not in power, you shut up and look the other way.
It’s safer to not get involved.
How many people stand up to their boss when they’re told to do wrong? Pride and principles for self-preservation take a back seat to political correctness, greed and corruption.
Today it’s all about power, manipulation and control. Those who have the power rule and those who don’t do what they’re told, regardless.
As my last boss stated, “It’s nice to be king because the king doesn’t follow any rules–he makes
the rules that only subordinates must follow.”
