October sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 137. This compares to 111 sold in September and 112 a year ago, according to Connie Reed, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

The median sales price for single-family homes in October was $644,444; in October a year ago, it was $649,038.

The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in October were $120.9 million. For October last year, the total was $100.2 million.

New residential listings totaled 226 in October compared to 283 in October 2008 and 251 in September 2009.
