CELEBRATING–Mike Hale shows off the Betty De Santis Residential Award with Betty standing beside him. De Santis is a member of the Villa Esperanza Community Council for Excellence. Villa Esperanza provides love, care and hope for people with disabilities.
Villa Esperanza Services hosted its annual adult awards dinner celebrating the achievements of all Villa’s clients in November at Villa’s adult day program site. Each participant received a certificate of achievement with accolades from each program director. Additional awards were presented to individuals for their above-and-beyond efforts.
“The evening is great fun,” said Wendy Petry, chair of the board. “You have an opportunity to speak with all our participants. And it’s wonderful to see the amount of enthusiasm they have for each other.”
The celebration is a tradition at Villa, attended by families, new and retired board members, staff and volunteers.
