La Reina students honored by College Board

Seventy-one students from La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their achievement on AP exams. The achievement was based on the students’ performance on the AP exams taken last spring. 

Five students qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average grade of 4 or higher on eight or more exams: Julianne Brauer, Julia Dimitriadis, Shannon Shaffer, Alexa Shaw and Elizabeth Workman.

Thirty-three students qualified for the AP Scholar of Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on five or more exams: Daniella Anderson, Kelsea Brajkovich, Julianne Brauer, Natalie Canon, Sean  Christensen, Julia Dimitriadis, Dasha Gloutak, Catherine Hawe, Allison Heller, Brianne Johnson-VanAtta, Lilian Kozma, Belinda Lai, Janet Lee, Jodi Loo, Catherine Maleki, Morgan McDonald, Sarah McGough, Meghan Murphy, Stephanie Nicolard, Tina Nikoomanesh, Himika Patel, Patricia Pichardo, Shannon Shaffer, Alexa Shaw, Christina Sinner, Kamarin Smith, Emma Sullivan, Lydia Truong, Sara Volkmann, Megan Winter, Elizabeth Workman, Jennifer Zahlit and Rachel Zisman.

Fourteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 or higher on four or more exams: Jasmine Aarabi, Jacy Bessolo, Erika Brown, Sinead Christensen, Allyson Fredrickson, Kathryn Glynn, Kate Grode, Samantha Martinez, Sarah Pearson, Christina Perez, Stephanie Pushaw, Christina Tellez, Madeline Thorpe and Alexandra Wall.

Nineteen students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with grades of 3 or higher: Caroline Beaulieu, Sophia Blaise, Katelyn Davis, Maija-Liisa Ehlinger, Amanda Hardy, Caitlyn Hardy, Elizabeth Hatakeyama, Mackenzie Johnson, Phoebe Johnson, Jackie Lauletta, Emily McGough, Emily Meikle, Colleen Murphy, Madeline Rumer, Amanda Schubert, Laura Smith, Lauren Toohey, Alexandra Trout and Emily Zolfaghari.
