Newbury Park

Two males, 21 and 23, at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 were found in possession of stolen property that had been removed from several vehicles at Amgen Center and Pauling drives. One of them was also cited for possession of burglary tools and for moving a vehicle from its original location.

For possession of a controlled substance, a male, 33, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (substance believed to be methamphetamine).

A computer was stolen from the trunk of a car between 2 and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

Something was stolen between Nov. 7 and 11 in the 1000 block of Antelope Place.

Vehicle burglaries were reported in the following instances: Between 7 and 7:29 a.m. Nov. 13 in the first block of Los Vientos Drive; between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 600 block of Cayo Grande Court; on Nov. 11 or 12 in the 200 block of Pepper Road (unlocked); between 1:15 and 1:45 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 2700 block of W. Teller Road (unlocked); Nov. 12 or 13 in the 3900 block of Santa Monica Court; and the night of Nov. 11 in the 400 block of San Vincent (window smashed).

A male was found in possession of marijuana when he was cited for violating a restraining order by coming within 100 yards of certain people at 3:15 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 3300 block of Jessica Street.

For stealing money over several days from his employer in the 2700 block of Teller Road, a male, 21, was arrested the morning of Nov. 15.

Following a response to a call that someone was intoxicated and refusing to depart a restaurant, a female, 41, was arrested for public drunkenness at 6:06 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road.

Three tires were punctured on two vehicles the night of Nov. 11 in the 3300 block of Jessica Street.

A vehicle was vandalized ($300 loss) in the 1300 block of Ramona Drive between Nov. 14 and 16. A driver’s side window was shattered on Nov. 15 or 16 in the 3800 block of San Nicolas.

Two males, 23 and 29, were cited for drinking alcoholic beverages in public at 5:17 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.

Thousand Oaks

At 10 p.m. Nov. 14 at Avenida de Las Flores and the 23 Freeway, a female, 23, occupied what police described as a “suspicious vehicle.” During contact with authorities, the subject allegedly tried to destroy a hypodermic needle. She was arrested for resisting arrest, destruction of evidence and for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also cited for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs at the times and dates shown: A male, 25, at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 7 at an undisclosed location in Thousand Oaks (the suspect had initially been stopped for running a stop sign); a male, 22, at 9:24 p.m. Nov. 14 at Hillcrest Drive and Boardwalk Avenue; and a male (no age provided) at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 9 at Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Conejo Boulevard (only recently reported).

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a male, 40, was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 700 block of Calle Pensamiento.

A male, 45, allegedly battered his girlfriend (causing visible injury) at 9:57 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 200 block of Houston Drive. During the incident, the subject also allegedly threatened to kill the victim while brandishing a knife.

Following a domestic disturbance, a female, 27, and a male, 33, were both arrested the early morning of Nov. 14 on allegations they had committed battery on each other in the 2600 block of La Paloma Circle.

On an allegation that he had battered his girlfriend in the 600 block of Hampshire Road at 9:48 a.m. Nov. 16, a male, 23, was arrested at East County Sheriff’s Station later that morning, at 11:20 a.m.

Cited and released was a female, 47, at 11:19 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 900 block of Westercreek Lane regarding an allegation of battery in the 200 block of W. Janss Road in the afternoon of Nov. 4.

Burglaries of vehicles took place in the following: Between 8 and 9 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 1600 block of Glider Court (unlocked, loss more than $400); between 12:30 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 900 block of Mower Court (window smashed); between 7 p.m. Nov. 12 and noon Nov. 13 in the 1800 block of Montgomery Drive (unlocked); between 8 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 2100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (unlocked, wallet stolen); on Nov. 17 or 18 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles (unlocked); and on Nov. 15 or 16 in the 600 block of St. Charles Drive (two vehicles, one locked, the other unlocked, but nothing appeared to be missing).

Somebody vandalized city property with graffiti on Nov. 13 or 14 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. The loss was less than $400.

The loss was more than $400 after gang graffiti was placed near Los Feliz Drive and N. Skyline Drive on Nov. 11 or 12.

Somebody tried to break into a home between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 1000 block of Evenstar Avenue.

A vehicle was vandalized (loss exceeded $400) on Nov. 12 or 13 in the 100 block of Gazania Court.

A vehicle window was smashed between 1 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 1200 block of La Granada.

In the 1800 block of Calle Salto, a male, 25, broke the front window of his parents’ home at 2:27 a.m. Nov. 16 causing less than $400 damage.

The loss exceeded $400 after theft at the Apple Store on Nov. 5.

Somebody stole merchandise from J.C. Penney on Nov. 15. During daytime on Nov. 16, items were stolen from Sears.

Cash was stolen from a yogurt store in the 2000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles the night of Nov. 15. Items were stolen in the 2700 block of Crescent Way on Nov. 14.

A female, 55, was arrested at East County Sheriff’s Station the morning of Nov. l8 for using a false credit card in September.

A female, 18, was cited for shoplifting at a store in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 4:41 p.m. Nov. 11.

A male, 19 was caught trying to shoplift in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road at 9:04 p.m. Nov. 14. He also possessed a small amount of marijuana.

A female, 22, was arrested for stealing merchandise from Macy’s at 10:01 p.m. Nov. 14.

Cited for petty theft was a female, 27, at a store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive the afternoon of Nov. 15.

At 1:15 p.m. Nov. 17 at Ralphs on N. Moorpark Road, somebody was caught shoplifting.

Graffiti vandalism occurred at a business in the 1800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Aug. 1 and Nov. 11.

All four tires were slashed and a truck’s license plate was spray painted after vandalism on Nov. 18 in the 100 block of N. Skyline Drive.

Something was vandalized at a business in the 3000 block of Old Conejo Road on Nov. 5 or 6.

A male, 45, was arrested for public intoxication at 9:17 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

For drinking alcoholic beverages in public, the following were cited: Three males, 30, 40 and 51, at 12:55 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 100 block of S. Oak View Drive.

For peddling without a license, a female, 22, was cited in the 100 block of E. Janss Road the afternoon of Nov. 15. Two males, 29 and 20, were similarly cited at 1:17 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 100 block of E. Janss Road; the younger subject was also cited for possession of marijuana.

Westlake/T.O.

On suspicion of driving while intoxicated, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places shown: A female, 19, at 1:58 a.m. Nov. 14 on Hampshire Road, west of Westlake Boulevard (she had been stopped for making an illegal U turn); and a male, 52, at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Jewelry was stolen Nov. 6 or 7 in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A home was burglarized the afternoon of Nov. 18 in the 1500 block of Fairmont Road.

Somebody was caught shoplifting at Rite Aid on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard the afternoon of Nov. 17.

A business was vandalized between 3 and 5 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 900 block of Hampshire Road.
