The Thousand Oaks Republican Women Federated will host the annual Christmas and Holiday Gala Thurs., Dec. 10 at Sherwood Country Club, 320 W. Stafford Road, Thousand Oaks.

A reception will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by luncheon and program at noon.

The program will feature the Voices of Christmas carolers, Starlet Allison Adam, boutiques, installation of executive officers and dove release for peace.

The Beacon of Light Awards will also be presented.

Ventura County Sheriff Bob Brooks will receive the Americanism Award. Hannah Grossman, MD, medical director of Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, will be presented with the Humanitarian Award.

Attendees are asked to bring a small stuffed toy for My Stuff Bags.

The cost is $55. The student price is $50.
