Stores to offer gift program

Caruso Affiliated announced it is launching a new holiday gift program at The Promenade in Westlake, The Lakes in Thousand Oaks and The Commons in Calabasas.

Five percent of a customer’s total purchase can be donated to the school of their choice. Purchases include movie tickets and restaurant meals.

After making a purchase from any store or restaurant on the property, customers can take their receipt to the on-site concierge desk, which will be open from noon to 3 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 to 24. Customers can let the concierge know which school they are supporting with their donation. Most elementary, secondary and tertiary schools within Los Angeles and Ventura counties qualify.

The program will continue through Thurs., Dec. 24 or until $10,000 in donations is reached. A check will be given to the schools in January.
