Rotarians take children shopping
The Rotary Club of Westlake Village last week took 25 children on a shopping spree at J.C. Penney in Thousand Oaks. The children participate with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County.
Each child was provided $100 to purchase clothes at a 25 percent discount. The parents provided a list of items that were needed, and the Rotarians helped the children shop.
The shopping spree is an annual event that began in 1988.
