Catherine Soloway GOES GREEN FOR THE GOLD–– Catherine Soloway, 18, of Thousand Oaks earned her Girl Scout Gold Award. She is a member of Conejo Valley Troop No. 12 and the daughter of Lance and Connie Soloway. For her project, Catherine worked with the city of Thousand Oaks Public Works Department to expand the number of battery recycling locations in the community. Catherine graduated from Westlake High School and is a freshman at San Francisco State University.
