The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes recently added Scott Lindquist to its board of governors.

Lindquist, a certified public accountant, is executive vice president, chief financial officer and member of the board of directors of Farmers Insurance Group. His responsibilities include planning and performance management, treasury operations, actuarial, tax, investments, facilities and financial accounting, reporting, operations and controlling.

Lindquist moved to Farmers in 2008 from Genworth Financial, where he served as vice president and chief accounting officer since 2005, and from The Phoenix Companies, where he was senior vice president and chief accounting officer from 2002 through 2005. Earlier, he was an audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ insurance practice.

Lindquist has a master’s degree in business from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

He and his wife, Alison, and two daughters reside in Westlake Village.
