The Rotary Club of Westlake Village will be Christmas shopping with 25 children from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County on Tues., Nov. 17 at J.C. Penney in Thousand Oaks

Rotary provides $100 per child, and the store gives a 25 percent discount on all purchases. This, together with the store’s holiday sale, equals a great deal of clothing per child.

Each Rotarian who volunteers to shop will team up with a child and select items of the child’s choice from a list prepared by the child’s parents.

This annual event was started in 1988.
