Conejo Valley Unified School District made cutbacks this year and received federal bailout funds to deal with the budget shortfall. The future looks even more challenging, district officials say.

Conejo Council PTA and CVUSD will host two meetings in which Dep. Superintendent Jeff Baarstad will discuss the problem. The first session will be at 6 p.m. Mon., Nov. 16 at the Newbury Park High School Performing Arts Center, 456 N. Reino Road. The other will be at 6 p.m. Wed., Nov. 18 in the Redwood Middle School gymnasium, 233 W. Gainsborough Road.
