City of T.O. employees will participate in an annual charity holiday program. The two recipients of this year’s program are Manna, the local food bank providing food and necessities for low-income families, and ACTION (Area Christians Taking Initiative on Needs) Foundation’s Community Christmas Shoppe Program, which provides toys to more than 400 families in Conejo Valley.

Employees will donate food, necessities and toys for infants through teens.

The program includes employee participation from all city departments and work sites, including City Hall/Civic Arts Plaza, Municipal Service Center, Hill Canyon Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park Branch libraries. The program runs through Dec. 9.
