Bridges School holds fundraisers

Bridges Charter School will host two fundraisers this month. Money raised will go to the new charter school for grades K-8 proposed at the University Elementary School campus.

•A garage sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 7 at 1654 N. Chilco Court, Thousand Oaks.

Designer clothes, toys, books, name-brand furniture, house-wares, jewelry, tools and bikes will be on sale, along with old-fashioned lemonade, muffins and bagels.

•Family Craft Night will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Fri., Nov. 13 at the Horizon Hills multipurpose room, 33 Greta St., Thousand Oaks.

Participants will work together on a “glue-batik” fabric banner with leaf print. Cookies and lemonade will be available. 

The cost is $20 per family and includes all materials for one banner.
