This year the theme is “The Way You Look Tonight.”

National Charity League is a nonprofit, mother-daughter organization supporting local community agencies and charitable organizations. The Conejo Valley chapter assists more than 13 philanthropies in this area. In addition, college scholarships are awarded to young women at local high schools.

Working together, mothers and daughters experience the rewards of volunteering their time and energy to help others. Girls typically enter the program as seventh-graders and continue through their senior year, when they may choose to become a debutante.

The local organization will formally present 15 debutantes who graduated in June from local high schools. The Ball is a celebration of the girls’ six years of philanthropic service.
