Newbury Park
An assailant attacked someone with a deadly weapon and seriously injured the victim between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino. The crime was gangrelated.
A female, 26, was reportedly found with two fraudulent driver’s licenses, fake Social Security cards and a used methamphetamine smoking pipe at 2 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 2700 block of Teller Road. The subject, who was also allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance, had attempted to open a credit account at a store with someone else’s information on Sept. 20 and returned to the store, trying to purchase items, on Oct. 21.
A male, 19, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:48 a.m. Oct. 16 at Ventu Park Road and the northbound 101 Freeway. A male, 24, was arrested on the same charge at 1:48 a.m. Oct. 17 at Michael Drive and Newbury Road.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 48, at 11:45 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios; a male, 39, at 10 a.m. Oct. 21 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios; a male, 28, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 600 block of Hanover Avenue (subject allegedly possessed a smoking device for methamphetamine); and a female, 18, at 3 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 600 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard (subject allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from 7-Eleven).
A male, 40, was cited for violating a domestic violence court order at 4 p.m. Oct. 13 in the first block of Viva Mariposa.
A male, 24, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property at 3 a.m. Oct. 19 in the 600 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.
A male, 19, was arrested and charged with threatening to commit a crime at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata.
A female, 18, was arrested on suspicion of selling magazines without a permit at 5:26 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 100 block of Madonna Lane.
A thief paid for merchandise with a rubber check on Sept. 8 or 9 in the 100 block of N. Reino Road. The incident was only recently reported.
A business was burglarized on Oct. 15 or 16 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios.
A theft occurred around 2:40 a.m. Oct. 17 in the first block of Reino Road.
Property was stolen from a work desk between Oct. 16 and 20 in the 2000 block of Corporate Center Drive.
Graffiti was the cause of damage to a drugstore between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 22 at 123 N. Reino Road.
Graffiti caused property damage on Oct. 14 or 15 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino.
Property was stolen between Sept. 11 and 18 in the 1700 block of N. Rancho Conejo Boulevard. The crime was recently reported.
Thousand Oaks
Robbers used force and fear to steal property around 9:55 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road.
A male, 23, was arrested on charges of battering an officer and obstructing justice at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 22, at 1:45 a.m. Oct. 22 at Montgomery Road and E. Avenida de Las Flores (subject involved in a single-vehicle accident); a male, 53, at 11:07 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road; and a male, 23, at 1:50 a.m. Oct. 22 at Hodencamp and Hillcrest.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 46, at 9:10 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 2900 block of Crescent Way; a male, 21, at 11 a.m. Oct. 22 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; a male, 22, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Ashford and Leaflock streets (subject allegedly possessed 0.7 grams of heroin and a syringe); a male, 21, at 9:20 a.m. Oct. 20 in the 300 block of Erbes Road; a male, 22, at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 20 in the 300 block of Erbes Road; a male, 18, and two females, 21 and 19, around 5 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 1300 block of Calle Gomero (21year-old female allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); and a male, 37, at noon Oct. 18 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.
A male, 30, who reportedly didn’t obey police instructions, was subdued with a Taser so authorities could handcuff him. He was arrested at 1:03 a.m. Oct. 16 at PJ’s Sports Pub on E. Avenida de Los Arboles.
A male, 43, was cited for alleged battery at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 400 block of Calle Jazmin.
A male, 45, was arrested on charges of battering and injuring someone at 5 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 1800 block of Spring Gate Lane.
A male, 62, allegedly battered someone he’s been dating at around 3 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road.
A 40-year-old female was cited for battery at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 2100 block of Scenic Park Street.
A female, 22, was cited for battery at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 18 at Avenida de Las Plantas and Calle Tulipan.
A female, 53, was arrested and charged with petty theft at 9:20 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A male, 20, was arrested and charged with possessing different pills without prescriptions at 9 a.m. Oct. 17 at Hendrix Avenue and Janss Road.
A male, 50, gave false identification to a police officer at 12:48 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
For allegedly selling food without a permit, a female, 21, and a male, 41, were arrested at 11 a.m. Oct. 16 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between Oct. 13 and 15 at Wilbur and Hodencamp roads; Oct. 14 or 15 in the 900 block of Ranch House Road; Oct. 15 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road (unlocked, $2,200 in property stolen); Oct. 20 or 21 in the 2600 block of La Paloma Court (unlocked); between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Avenida de Las Flores and the 23 Freeway (window smashed, purse stolen); between 1:55 and 4:29 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1400 block of E. Janss Road (window broken); and between 2 and 8 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 2900 block of Calle Estepa.
Property valued at $3,500 was stolen from a home between Aug. 25 and Sept. 15 in the 900 block of Calle Jazmin. The crime was only recently reported.
A home was burglarized between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Oct. 20 in the 3500 block of Lang Ranch Parkway.
Property was stolen on Oct. 20 or 21 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte.
Property was stolen from inside a vehicle at Land Rover of Thousand Oaks dealership on Auto Mall Drive between Oct. 9 and 12.
A vandal damaged a car by breaking vehicle parts and kicking it between 9 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Janss Marketplace parking structure.
A trespasser entered a home on Oct. 20 or 21 in the 3000 block of Potter Avenue.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public: A female, 43, at 12:35 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 3700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; and a male, 54, at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Erbes Road.
The following subjects were cited on suspicion of drinking alcohol in public: A male, 59, at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive and again at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 17 in the first block of Erbes Road; two 22-year-old males at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard; and a male, 22, at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road.
For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 8:36 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 300 block of Briar Bluff Circle. A male, 23, was cited for the same offense at 6:05 p.m. Oct. 16 in the parking lot of Hyatt Westlake Plaza.
