Promotional communications and letters have been printed recently regarding the request that the Conejo Valley Unified School District governing board approve a petition for the Bridges Charter School.

The material indicates that the charter will be located on the former University Elementary School campus. CVUSD administration met with the president of the Bridges Charter board of directors and made it clear that the campus is not available.

The district has created an Early Childhood Development Center on the University campus and currently has morning and afternoon preschool programs operating. The preschool programs will be expanding, along with child care programs and a family resource center.

Professional trainings for teachers and administration are also planned for the site.
