Lighthouse Church will present the inaugural FallFest ’09 from 2 to 9 p.m. Sat., Oct. 31 at Borchard Park, next to Newbury Park High School, at 190 Reino Road.

The event will have entertainment for children, including a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, bouncers, climbing wall, mechanical bull and sporting contests.

An 8GB iPod Touch will be given away.

A barbecue dinner will cost $5 for adult meals and $3 for children’s meals.

Tyrone Wells will present a live concert. Evan Craft, a singer/ songwriter from Thousand Oaks, will perform his original songs as the opening act.

The Rev. Daren Laws, pastor, will give an inspirational presentation.

The movie “Monsters vs. Aliens” will be shown under the stars.

Admission and parking are free. The public is invited.
