Newbury Park
A male, 29, reportedly endangered a minor’s safety by employing her as a lookout during an alleged act of prostitution. Police say the subject conspired with a female, 21, to commit acts of prostitution and profit from the proceeds. The male subject also lied to police about his identity, and he was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 2300 block of Borchard Road. The female adult was arrested at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.
A male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 4:17 a.m. Oct. 9 at Borchard Road and Theresa Drive.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 36, at 11:46 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 2400 block of Turquoise Drive (subject possessed drug paraphernalia); and a female, 18, at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Conejo Boulevard.
A male, 20, was cited for shoplifting from Home Depot on Teller Road at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 13.
A male, 20, was cited for vandalism at 8 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.
A female, 20, was cited for petty theft at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.
A 31-year-old male was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Oct. 12 and charged with stealing goods from Ralphs on N. Ventu Park Road.
A business was burglarized between 9:40 and 10:10 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.
Property was stolen from CVS Pharmacy on N. Reino Road between Oct. 3 and 5.
Property was vandalized ($200 in damage) on Oct. 11 or 12 in the 700 block of Blue Oak Avenue.
Vandals punctured two vehicle tires on Oct. 9 or 10 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.
Credit cards and paperwork were stolen from a bedroom closet between Oct. 8 and 11 in the first block of Monte Vista. A stolen credit card was used to purchase a gift card.
Gang graffiti was the cause of property damage on Oct. 10 or 11 in the 500 block of Avenida Del Platino.
A vehicle was vandalized on a recent early evening at Lynn and Reino roads.
Vandals damaged a vehicle on Oct. 9 or 10 in the 2500 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
A vehicle break-in occurred on Oct. 11 or 12 in the 1500 block of Glenbrock Lane. Property from an unlocked vehicle was stolen Oct. 9 or 10 in the 800 block of Cayo Grande.
Thousand Oaks
An assailant entered a home and confronted someone, then attempted to stab that person with a knife around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 200 block of Beyer Street. The assailant then fled the scene.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 32, at 2:40 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive (subject allegedly hit a parked vehicle and a fence); a male, 29, at 12:09 a.m. Oct. 15 at Mountclef Boulevard and Summerfield Street (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic accident); a female, 45, at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (subject was allegedly involved in a single-vehicle accident); and a male, 57, at 11:35 p.m. Oct. 10 at Hillcrest Drive and Blue Mesa Road.
While allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance, a 30-year-old female entered a business, and stole and damaged property around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1300 block of Moorpark Road.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 50, at 2:10 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 100 block of Hunt Circle (subject possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and glass pipes); a female, 36, at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 100 block of Hunt Circle; a female, 30, at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the East County Sheriff’s Station; a female, 20, at 10:28 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 2400 block of Ginger Circle; and a male, 19, at 11:02 a.m. Oct. 10 at Lynn Road and Sidlee Street.
Property valued at $25,000 was vandalized on Oct. 6 or 7 in the 500 block of Rosario Drive.
A male, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance for sale at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at Fairview Road and Crescent Way.
A female, 48, was arrested and charged with altering a prescription drug and conspiring to commit a crime with at least one other person at 8:15 p.m. June 18 in the 200 block of Lombard Street. The crime was recently reported.
A male, 54, allegedly battered his girlfriend and was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 10 at the southbound 101 Freeway and the 23 Freeway. A 44year-old female at the scene was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
A male, 21, was arrested and charged with battery and making criminal threats at 12:10 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan.
A male, 50, allegedly threatened to kill someone and was arrested at 10:55 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 100 block of N. Skyline Drive.
A 38-year-old male allegedly threatened to have someone killed and made the threats through phone conversations, phone messages and text messages. The subject was arrested at 11 a.m. Oct. 14 in the 1300 block of Montgomery Road.
A male, 34, allegedly attempted to shoplift goods from a business and punched someone who tried to stop the subject around 4:20 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.
A male, 60, allegedly committed a burglary, grand theft and petty theft on Aug. 31 in the 2000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles, and he was arrested on Oct. 14 in Los Angeles.
A female, 18, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road on charges of graffiti vandalism, supplying spray paint for juveniles to tag public property and driving the minors to more than one location to commit more acts of vandalism.
A male, 22, was arrested on charges of petty theft and possessing burglary tools at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A 40-year-old male allegedly vandalized a cement fountain in front of a business complex around 10 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 900 block of Greenwich Drive.
A male, 21, was arrested and charged with vandalism at 2 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue.
A male, 26, who allegedly committed petty theft on Sept. 22 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road, was arrested Oct. 12 at East County Sheriff’s Station.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Oct. 14 or 15 in the 900 block of Ranch House Road; on Oct. 15 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road ($2,220 worth of property was stolen from unlocked vehicle); between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (window broken, purse stolen); on July 8 in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane (unlocked, also reported fraudulent use of access card at scene); and between Oct. 13 and 15 at Wilbur and Hodencamp roads.
A vehicle was damaged between 5:15 and 5:33 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 1300 block of Moorpark Road.
A vehicle was vandalized on Oct. 11 or 12 in the 300 block of E. Wilbur Road.
Grand theft occurred between Oct. 2 and 5 in the 1300 block of Wilder Street.
Graffiti caused damage to the north wall at Estella Park between Oct. 9 and 12.
A vandal threw a rock through a window ($300 damage) on Oct. 8 or 9 in the 2700 block of Calle Quebracho.
A thief used someone’s personal information to obtain medical services between June 11 and Aug. 28 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. The crime was only recently reported.
Customers departed without paying for a meal at Denny’s restaurant on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 11:30 and 11:50 p.m. Oct. 10.
An office was burglarized around 12:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 700 block of Erbes Road.
Burglars attempted to break into a home prying open the back door around 12:45 a.m. Oct. 8 in the 1000 block of Cherry Creek Circle.
Petty theft occurred on Oct. 8 in the 200 block of S. Rancho Road.
Merchandise was stolen from Victoria’s Secret in The Oaks around 6:20 p.m. Oct. 2.
A thief stole prescription drugs between 1 and 5 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 1800 block of Rush Circle.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public: A male, 30, at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 16 in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 52, at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 25, at 1:25 a.m. Oct. 11 at the Chevron gas station at 1201 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject was passed out at the station); and a male, 26, at 4:20 a.m. Oct. 11 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road.
Two males, 60 and 37, were cited for drinking alcohol in public around 6:40 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 62, was cited for the same behavior at 11:50 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 1100 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 22, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 1000 block of Ashford Court.
A male, 40, was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise from Rite Aid on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard at 7:24 p.m. Oct. 14.
About $220 worth of liquor was stolen from Rite Aid on E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 7:40 and 7:44 p.m. Oct. 6.
