Police bust prostitution ring in T.O.
Three Las Vegas residents were arrested on a variety of charges by the East County Sexual Assault Unit on Oct. 15 in Thousand Oaks in connection with a prostitution ring that was being run from a Thousand Oaks hotel room.
The suspects, one of them 16 years old, were using the Internet site Craigslist to advertise their services and to lure customers to the hotel where the threesome was staying.
Ralph Allen Bush III, 29, of North Las Vegas, Nev., was booked on charges of pimping, pandering, child endangerment, conspiracy and providing false information to a peace officer. Bush also had two outstanding felony arrest warrants out of Los Angeles County. He’s being held at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility in Ventura without bail due to one of the outstanding warrants, Ventura County Sheriff’s Detective Eric Buschow said.
Tatiana Keith, 21, was arrested on charges of conspiracy, pandering and child endangerment. She’s being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
The juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to her age, was cited and released to a relative. Child Protective Services was notified.
“Some people say prostitution is a victimless crime, but when you see there is a child involved, a girl who should be at home, going to school and being a child, you see that there are victims,” Buschow said.
The investigation into the group’s activities is continuing, Buschow said.
