The EV Free Church of the Conejo Valley will host the annual Harvest Carnival from 6 to 9 p.m. Sat., Oct. 31 in the church parking lot at 999 Rancho Conejo Blvd., Newbury Park.

The public is invited.

The lot will be well-lit and blocked off from unwanted strangers. Children can safely go from car to car “trunk-or-treating” for unspoiled candy.

The property will be decorated for Halloween and filled with entertainment for families, including music, face painting and game booths. The games include a giant slide, moon bounce and Monster Basketball. A photographer will be available to take portraits. An ice cream truck will be on hand and hot dogs will be sold during the evening. Security will be provided.
