Poets to visit T.O. Library

Mothers are invited to a special poetry workshop with the Razor Babes at 2 p.m. Sun., Oct. 25 at the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library courtyard, 1401 E. Janss Road.

Razor Babes, a poetry group made up of Moorpark College students and faculty, have performed at the Ojai Poetry Festival, the Cobalt Cafe, Beyond Baroque and the Ojai Center for the Arts. They also appeared at the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival and the West Hollywood Book Fair.

The Babes range in age from 18 to 65, and their material covers a broad spectrum.

Besides hearing poetry performed, participants of all ages will produce a poem with help from the Razor Babes and share it with the audience.

The program is free and open to the public.
