America’s Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College will host the annual Boo at the Zoo Halloween event on Sat. and Sun., Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at Moorpark College, 7075 Campus Road. 

For this event only, hours have been extended from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Booths will feature face painting, crafts and Halloween activities with candy and prizes. 

Animal shows in the amphitheater will be at noon and 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Visitors can also witness a carnivore feeding display that takes place cageside at 4 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children age 12 and under, and free for children age 2 and under.
