A school fundraising yard sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Oct. 17 at Horizon Hills Campus, 33 Greta St., Thousand Oaks.

Money raised will go to the Bridges Charter School for grades K-8, set to open in fall 2010 at the University Elementary School campus.

The sale will offer brandname and designer clothes, toys, books, furniture, jewelry, tools and bikes. Old-fashioned lemonade, muffins and bagels will be available for purchase.
