Reign of Terror coming to Janss Marketplace

The Reign of Terror Haunted House will be at the Janss Marketplace Thurs. through Sat., Oct. 22 to 24 and Oct. 29 to 31. Hours of operation will be from 7 to 11 p.m.

The haunted house is celebrating its 10th year. The attraction began in Bruce Stanton’s Thousand Oaks front yard and has grown over the years. Last year it was presented at the Conejo Recreation and Park District Hillcrest Center.

Admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Janss merchants Buca di Beppo, GodSpace, Simply Ceramics, Invitation Spot and Thousand Oaks Beauty Collection. Tickets will also be available at the door from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit Conejo

Recreation and Park District youth charities, including the Young Artists Ensemble and the Thousand Oaks Teen Center.

Janss Marketplace is offering safe trick-or-treating from 3 to 5 p.m. on Halloween, Sat., Oct. 31, and a pet costume contest at 4 p.m. Prize for the contest is a $100 gift certificate to a Janss merchant. The Marketplace and Sunset Terrace will host live entertainment and a costume contest from 5 to 7 p.m. Janss Marketplace is at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
