Temple Etz Chaim and United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks will host a joint e-waste recycling event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Oct. 18 in the parking lot at 1000-1080 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Electronic items accepted include televisions, computers and components, monitors, fax machines, printers, copiers, toner and inkjet cartridges, wire, video game consoles, cameras, camcorders, Internet devices, keyboards, computer mice, MP3 players, VCRs, DVD players, cellphones and telephone equipment.

Residents and businesses can drop off items for free.
