AP scholars recognized
Forty-four students at Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village have earned the designation of Advanced Placement Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the collegelevel AP program exams.
Fourteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these tests.
These students are Brittany Allison, William Allison, Victoria Anglin, Paige Dubin, Nadina Gerlach, Sohum Gokhale, Aurora Griffin, Catherine Hance, Thomas Johnson, Vanessa Neiman, Brandon Neuman, Rebecca Ouligian, Nicholas Pann and Colleen Raab.
Ten students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Twenty students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with a grade of 3 or higher.
Students took AP exams in May after completing collegelevel courses at the high school. Students may receive college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP exams.
