Participants may still register for the fifth annual Kids and the Arts 5K and 10K Fun Run on Sat., Sept. 26 at The Lakes shopping center on Thousand Oaks Boulevard next to the Civic Arts Plaza.

The run features chip timing, a accurate course through Thousand Oaks, giveaways, free food and refreshments, event Tshirts and vendor booths. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest runners.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Kids and the Arts School Outreach Program.

Preregistration is $25 with Tshirt included. Day of race registration is $30 beginning at 6:30 a.m.
