Newbury Park

A male, 48, was arrested on charges of impersonating a police officer and possessing a deadly weapon at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 3400 block of Frankie Drive.

A male, 18, allegedly possessed 1 gram of cocaine, brass knuckles and a switchblade knife around 4 a.m. Sept. 6 at Ventu Park Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 45, was arrested for allegedly battering and injuring his 16-year-old daughter and making criminal threats to another person at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 400 block of Reino Road.

An assailant attempted to start a fight in front of Newbury Park High School and then ignored the instructions of a police officer and resisted arrest around 2:50 p.m. Aug. 27.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 42, at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 9 at Wendy Drive and Old Conejo Road; a female, 23, at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 8 in the first block of N. Reino Road; a male, 51, at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 2000 block of Seabreeze Street; and a male, 36, at 2:50 a.m. Sept. 3 at Wendy Drive and Walter Avenue.

A male, 23, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A female, 20, was arrested and charged with grand theft at 10:27 a.m. Sept. 10 in the 1900 block of Oracle Street.

A male, 44, was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 800 block of Wendy Drive.

A male, 29, was cited for allegedly vending without a permit at 3:35 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 1600 block of Calle Turquesa.

A male, 48, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 4 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 36, was allegedly drinking beer in public around 10:50 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 1700 block of Calle Zafiro. The subject reportedly fled from deputies and physically resisted arrest while being handcuffed.

A burglar stole property ($1,000 loss) from Amgen between Sept. 2 and 9.

A burglar stole a car and other property from a garage and backyard on Sept. 5 or 6 in the 200 block of Devia Drive.

A leaf blower was stolen from a locked garage on Sept. 3 or 4 in the 1700 block of Calle Turquesa.

Grand theft occurred on Aug. 4 in the 100 block of Reino Road. The crime was only recently reported.

Graffiti was applied to a wall Sept. 5 in the 1800 block of Seabreeze Street.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Sept. 8 or 9 in the 5200 block of Via Dolores (unlocked) and Sept. 5 in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 19, at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 6 at Brazil Street and Pensfield Place; a male, 56, at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 3100 block of Willow Lane (subject also allegedly possessed medication without a prescription); a male, 21, at 1 a.m. Sept. 5 at Moorpark and Columbia roads (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); and a male, 23, at 2:40 a.m. Sept. 5 at Moorpark and Columbia roads.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 18, at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 20, at 2:13 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Park Oaks Shopping Center; a male, 47, at 9 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; a female, 19, at 5:38 a.m. Sept. 6 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a female, 36, at 3:05 p.m. July 30 in the 1300 block of Whitecliff Road; and a male, 44, at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 49, allegedly battered someone before brandishing a knife and threatening to kill that person. The subject also allegedly assaulted a second person with a deadly weapon and threatened to harm that person, too. He was arrested at 9 p.m. Sept. 5 in the first block of Maegan Place.

For allegedly battering, injuring and threatening to kill a person while he was holding their child, a female, 30, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A male, 45, allegedly violated a domestic restraining order by leaving more than 40 phone messages for someone between June 20 and 24 at Amgen. The subject was arrested Aug. 26 in the 500 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 51, was arrested and charged with concealing an unloaded semiautomatic handgun in his pocket while driving at 10:10 a.m. Sept. 5 in the 2900 block of Calle Estepa.

A male, 32, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and drinking alcohol in public next to a dumpster at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 4 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue.

For allegedly committing grand theft, a male, 46, was arrested at 10 a.m. Sept. 3 at East County Sheriff’s Station.

A male, 18, was arrested and charged with grand theft at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 3 at East County Sheriff’s Station.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Sept. 8 or 9 in the 2700 block of Cedarwood Place; Sept. 8 or 9 in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue; Aug. 2 or 3 in the 700 block of Birchpark Circle (unlocked); Aug. 24 or 25 in the 200 block of N. Conejo School Road (unlocked); Sept. 6 or 7 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard; between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (window broken, purse stolen); and Aug. 27 or 28 in the 2000 block of Maricio Circle.

A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked car between 2:45 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Calle PiƱata.

A vehicle had $800 in damage on Aug. 17 or 18 in the 700 block of Danvers Circle.

A vehicle was damaged between 3:15 and 4 a.m. Sept. 7 in the 1400 block of Calle Abeto.

Park Oaks Elementary School was burglarized between Sept. 5 and 8.

A vandal threw a rock at a window at Los Cerritos Middle School between Sept. 4 and 8. The damage was $500.

Two thieves made a fraudulent merchandise exchange at Best Buy on N. Moorpark Road on Sept. 3.

A bicycle was stolen Sept. 2 or 3 in the 100 block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A TV was stolen from a recreation room between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3 in the 300 block of McCloud Drive.

Vandals caused $12,000 in property damage with graffiti along Pine Terrace Drive on Sept. 1.

A juvenile reportedly shoplifted merchandise from J.C. Penney on W. Hillcrest Drive between 4:15 and 5:40 p.m. Sept. 4.

Grand theft occurred on Sept. 6 in the 100 block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A vandal damaged property between 7:30 and 7:40 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

Graffiti was written at a business on Sept. 7 or 8 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road. The damage was $50.

Shoplifting occurred at Ralphs on N. Moorpark Road between 5:50 and 6 p.m. Sept. 6.

Property was stolen from a front yard between 2:45 and 3 p.m. Sept. 9 on Shetland Place.

For alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 11:42 p.m. Sept. 8 at Flittner Circle and Brossard Drive.

A male, 18, was cited for allegedly possessing marijuana and providing it to a minor at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 2500 block of Hood Street.

On suspicion of stealing a movie poster valued at $500, a male, 21, was arrested at 10 p.m. Sept. 3 at St. Charles Place and Wilbur Road. The crime occurred in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 55, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at Paige Lane and La Granada Drive.

The following subjects were cited for allegedly drinking alcohol in public: Two males, 34 and 40, at 10:05 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; a male, 24, at 10:15 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; a male, 41, at 6:20 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive (subject allegedly lied to police about his identity); a male, 41, at 5 p.m. Sept. 4 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Boulevard (subject allegedly provided false information); a male, 60, at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; and a male, 53, at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Westlake

A male, 26, was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 3 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road.

For allegedly soliciting without a permit, a female, 21, was cited at 9:05 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1500 block of Briarglen Avenue.

A male, 56, was cited on suspicion of being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 3:45 a.m. Sept. 5 at Kanan Road and Collingswood Place.

A burglar stole property from a business between Sept. 4 and 8 in the 300 block of Westlake Boulevard.
