Ventura County Medical Center will host a 35th anniversary celebration in recognition of former patients of the center’s awardwinning neonatal intensive care unit from 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Sept. 26 on the lawn and parking lot in back of the hospital at 3291 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.

The event is open to all residents of Ventura County who were born at the center and spent time in the NICU, as well as family and friends.

The event will offer a variety of educational booths of interest to all ages, food, music, petting zoo, activities for children, information for new and expectant mothers and health information.

NICU “graduates” will be recognized throughout the day.

Nearly 20,000 children have passed through the center’s NICU.
