Power company helps CLU program
WON’T NEED READING GLASSES FOR THIS ONE—California Lutheran University PresidenChris Kimball, left, and Upward Bound director Sergio Galvez receive a check for $100,000 from Southern California Edison’s Rudy Gonzales and Glen Becerra. The donation will benefithe Upward Bound program, which helps low-income and first-generation college students prepare for their secondary education. The presentation took place on Sept. 15 at the university in Thousand Oaks.
