Children’s health to be discussed

Dr. Robert Melillo will speak from 7 to 9 p.m. Tues., Sept. 22 at the Goebel Senior Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks and again from 10 a.m. to noon, Wed., Sept. 23 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Melillo, a researcher and clinician, will discuss the childhood epidemic of neurological disorders and what parents can do about it.

Melillo will also sign copies of his book for parents, “Disconnected Kids: The Groundbreaking Brain Balance Program for Children with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Other Neurological Disorders.”

A limited number of copies will be available for sale at the events.

The event is sponsored by Brain Balance Achievement Center of Westlake Village.
