Five of seven Marmonte League teams will participate in the Conejo Classic this weekend, on Sept. 11 and 12.

Hosted by Thousand Oaks High, the tournament will begin on Friday afternoon at 2 with the Lancers battling San Marcos at TOHS, and Calabasas squaring off against Hanford West at Oaks Christian.

Westlake, Newbury Park, Moorpark and Oaks Christian will also participate in the two-day tourney. Agoura and Royal are the only Marmonte schools that will not play in the 32-team event.

The top four teams will play at Cal Lutheran University on Saturday. The championship match is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
