Stomping the grapes in Camarillo


GRAPE NUTS—Thousand Oaks resident Jailyn Ross holds onto her daughter, Jada, 4, as they foot-stomp a portion of 2,000 pounds of Syrah grapes. The finished product is destined for barrels of 2009 Syrah Rose wine. The Cantara Wine Cellars hosted the grape stomp last Saturday in Camarillo.
